Let's be real... no one has naturally pearly white teeth, but yet we all wish we did. Whether you're a coffee drinker, wine lover or just fight the same battle we all do of yellowed teeth, I have a fun product for you! I'm so excited to share with you all a secret little weapon I have been using to whiten my teeth and keep them white! In the past, I've tried all the home remedies for white teeth, from brushing with baking soda to whitening toothpaste and mouthwashes and never seen the results I wanted.
Now, to be honest with you all, I had never heard of Smile Brilliant until a blogger friend mentioned the brand and that they were looking for influencers to try out their custom home whitening kits. So, I did some research, looked into the ingredients and spoke with two friends in the dental field to see if this something I would be interested in. After I contacted Smile Brilliant letting them know I was interested, I received an immediate response with all the information I needed and so many helpful whitening tips!
Making your impressions:
The T3 Sensitive System kit includes four whitening syringes and four desensitizing syringes. It also includes everything you need to form your impressions and instructions to explain the process! Once you have formed your impressions, you will then receive your custom whitening trays and you can begin your whitening process!
Making your impressions takes just a few minutes!
First, be sure to brush and floss your teeth well!
Then, mix the catalyst and base paste quickly and thoroughly in your hands. Be sure to complete this step as fast as possible so the putty doesn't harden!
After the pastes are mixed well, place the putty in the tray.
Now, you are ready to make your impression! Place the tray in your mouth and press into your teeth! Be sure you don't bite down! This can cause flaws in your impressions.
Leave the tray in for 3 minutes and then gently remove. WARNING!!! When you remove the tray there will be a fountain of drool, so be ready with paper towels! Haha!
You completed your first impression! Now, repeat these steps for your second impression!
Once you make impressions for both your top and bottom teeth, you will wrap up your impressions and place them in the prepaid envelope and ship them back to Smile Brilliant! Once they have received your impressions their lab will take them and create your customized whitening trays!
The whitening process:
Once the lab has created your trays, they will ship them back to you and you're ready to start the whitening process! The whitening process is so easy! Simply, take your custom tray and fill with the whitening gel and let the gel work its magic! Smile Brilliant suggest starting your whitening sessions at 45 minutes and growing up to 3 hours from there. I followed their instructions and by the end of my whitening process, I kept the trays in for 2 hours each session. After you have finished whitening, you will remove the trays, rinse them and be sure to dry them of all moisture. Once they are dry you can add in the desensitizing gel and put them back in for 15 minutes! The desensitizing gel helps seal the whitening and prevent sensitivity.
So, what did I love about Smile Brilliant?!
The trays were so easy and convenient to use! I could pop them in and shower, read, meal prep or well, write this blog post, all while whitening my teeth!
The trays were very comfortable! They are the perfect size, making them almost feel invisible and not like a bulky mouth guard!
It actually works! Now, my teeth were already fairly white, but these trays made them a truer white and less yellowed!
This product is well worth the money! You get professional results for a fraction of the cost!
Here's my before and after photos! Like I said before, my teeth weren't horribly yellow to begin with, but now I have that extra confidence in my white and bright smile!
