Okay, so if you follow along my Instagram you know that I shop at Gabe's stores frequently. I first heard about Gabe's in the fall of 2017, while visiting a friend out of state. I had absolutely no idea what to expect and what Gabe's was. So, I went and was SHOCKED at the large selection of trendy clothes and the unbelievable prices - see what I did there, haha! Well, long story short I had fallen in love with Gabe's and was so excited when I noticed they opened a new store in the fall, just 15 minutes from me and quite literally right across the street from my church! So naturally, I make a weekly trip to Gabe's after morning service.
So, if you are unfamiliar with Gabe's, which it seems as though most of you are with the number of questions I seem to get about this retailer, here's what they are all about - Gabe's is a discount department store that prides themselves in offering all your favorite mall brands at unbelievable prices! For all you working ladies, I find the best Express workwear items for a fraction of the cost! I've also found brands like Aerie, Rue21, Katy Perry, NY&CO and so many more! Another fun thing about Gabe's is their inventory changes daily! Which, I personally love, being that I seem to be here weekly. I love that I am always finding new pieces and don't feel bad when buying trendy pieces, because the prices are so affordable!
I've partnered with Gabe's to bring you a post focused on spring trends and transitional pieces to carry into spring! I was so happy with my finds and I'm so excited to share them with you all!
1. Camo
Confession time, for years I hated the camo trend! I just didn't get it, but when I came across these trendy camo skinnies for just $9.99 at my local Gabe's store, I had to give them a shot! Camo is a year - round trend and these jeans are a great transitional piece between the cold winter months and the spring days ahead! I also snagged this basic white scoop neck top for just $7.99! This top is perfect for tucking into all your high - waisted pieces! Think jeans, shorts, mini skirts! SO many cute options!
2. Lace
I have always been a girly girl and I've always been drawn to lace! So, when I spotted this lace peplum tank in the most gorgeous blush color from Express for $9.99 I HAD to have it! I immediately started thinking of all the ways this could be paired for spring AND summer - high waisted jeans, white denim, dress it up for work or wear it on a date! The options are endless!
3. White Denim
White denim is a staple piece you MUST have in your wardrobe come spring and summer! I found this pair of distressed denim for just $13.99 at Gabe's! I paired these jeans with a lightweight windbreaker in the most perfect for spring mauve color! This windbreaker was $17.99 and is great for a cool spring day.
4. Lightweight Sweaters
Here in the North East, our spring season can still be pretty chilly! So, I love grabbing lightweight sweaters in fun light colors! This Rue21 sweater was just $5.99 and will be perfect for transitioning into my spring wardrobe!
5. Floral Embroidery
One of my favorite things to shop for at Gabe's is purses! They always have the cutest handbags for the most affordable prices! I've never been big into name brand handbags and spending a small fortune on a purse because I love to switch up my bags! This one here I just needed! I knew that if I walked away without snagging this deal at just $15.99, I would majorly regret it! This purse is my most favorite piece I found! The colors, detail and floral pattern are all just so CUTE for spring!
